McDonald’s needed to hire new employees and came to us with a simple ask: drastically increase job applications during worldwide hiring month.

One of the main challenges we faced in getting people to apply was the application process itself—it wasn’t up with the times and it wasn’t user friendly.

So, we made applying for a job as easy as ordering a Big Mac through a drive thru.

We created a first-of-its-kind voice job application—the McDonald’s Apply Thru.

 
 

The Reach

Within two weeks, over 41,000 people used the Apply Thru. Most importantly, McDonald’s saw a 600% increase in applications and started a new conversation about McDonald’s as an employer, generating 577 global media placements.

The Apply Thru won the Gold SABRE, PRWeek’s “Best in Tech Shortlist” and PRWeek’s Global PR Breakthrough Shortlist.
